The December RRLug meeting had 11 members attending. We met at the usual time of 6:30pm in the Rasmussen College Boardroom. We discussed the following:
- Awk/Gawk – Tracy Henness gave a really great presentation on the basics of the Awk/Gawk programming language. It was very informative and something that many members will use whether they are on Linux or not! Thanks for doing this presentation with last minute notice Tracy!
- Education Uses of F/OSS – We watched a great video detailing the progress that has been made by Charles Reisinger and the Penn Manor school in its quest to use Linux and FOSS software to make a difference in students lives.
- Linux News – We discussed the highlights of the last month in Linux news.
It was a great meeting and a nice way to end the 2014! Hope to see you all back for our first meeting in January!
