The February RRLug meeting had a great turnout of 13 people. We met at the usual time of 6:00 pm in the Rasmussen College Boardroom and had the following presentations:
- General Discussion – We began the evening with general Linux and Open Source shop talk. Great Q&A that we ended 30 minutes later so we had ample time to complete the rest of the program.
- RevolutionOS Screening – The LUG generally tries to screen RevolutionOS at least once every 5 years or so, although we jumped the gun once and screened earlier. In total the movie has been screened 4 times over the life of the LUG. There were still many people in the audience that had never seen it before and really appreciated its historic significance. While those that had seen it had been involved with Linux for a long time and it gave them an opportunity to reminisce a bit!
As usual we had a great time of informative geeky fun and humor! If you missed the showing this time and are interested keep your eyes on the blog because we might show it sooner then 5 years the next time!
