The September RRLug meeting was to be held starting at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 12th. Unfortunately, I’m out of town and something has come up last minute that will keep me from getting back in time for the meeting.

The August RRLug meeting will be held starting at 6:00pm on Thursday, August 8th. Directions: When you arrive at Rasmussen College take the elevator to the third floor then turn right and walk straight into the meeting room (Boardroom). This months agenda is as follows

  • LuaJIT – Derald Woods is going to give us a presentation on using LuaJIT tonight. LuaJIT is a just-in-time compiler for the Lua language. This should be a really interesting presentation given that Lua is embedded in many different applications.
  • Linux News/Discussion – We will discuss any Linux related news items that strike a responsive cord with the membership.
